Quantitative Research

To understand the real challenges faced by tournament organizers and players, I conducted in depth interviews and contextual observations. I explored how organizers manage registrations, track payments, and communicate updates.

For players, I observed how they register, receive notifications, and follow match schedules. This helped uncover the everyday friction points that numbers alone couldn’t reveal.

During the sessions, organizers shared frustrations with manual tracking of registrations and payments, spending hours reconciling data. They noted last-minute cancellations, missed notifications, and difficulties communicating changes. Players reported confusion over match schedules, unclear updates, and delayed payment confirmations.

These insights revealed inefficiencies and stress for both organizers and participants, highlighting opportunities to streamline workflows, improve clarity, and reduce errors, forming the foundation for Zeet’s design decisions. Overall, the qualitative research emphasized the importance of a platform that not only tracks registrations and payments

efficiently but also keeps all stakeholders informed in real time. Understanding these pain points allowed us to prioritize features like simplified registration flows, automated notifications, and transparent schedule management, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable tournament experience for everyone.
